Dr. Maureen Chileshe Chisembele

Dr. Maureen Chileshe Chisembele is a highly experienced medical doctor and consultant Obstetrician-Gynaecologist with over 24 years of practice. She is a clinician, researcher, lecturer, and trainer. She is a member of the Zambia Medical Association (ZMA) and the Zambia Obstetric Gynaecology Association. She has previously served as the former ZMA president, senior medical superintendent at Women and Newborn Hospital of the University Teaching Hospital (UTH), and as a consultant Obstetrician-Gynaecologist in various hospitals. She also previously served as Master Trainer for the World Health Organisation (WHO) for multiple courses, Honorary Lecturer at the University of Zambia, Zambia Flying Doctor Service Board Chair, and Secretary General of the Resident Doctors’ Association of Zambia. She holds a Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, a Master of Science in Clinical Trials, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology.
