Dr Francis Kiese Ngemba

Dr. FRANCIS KIESE NGEMBA, MD, MPH

Dr Francis is a Medical Doctor and a public health specialist with extensive international experience in clinical care, migration health, and public health programmes. He has worked as a physician in various clinical settings, ranging from primary to tertiary-level hospitals, in both rural and urban areas of Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, for the last 19 years. He has been involved in and managed several public health programmes and projects, including water and sanitation, the Expanded Programme of Immunisation, and community-based HIV projects. He has also collaborated with international organisations, such as the International Organisation for Migration and the Peace Corps in Zambia, to provide medical and health-related services. He has held managerial positions in public and private health institutions, with the most recent being the Chief Medical Officer at Corpmed Medical Centre from September 2016 to September 2021. He is currently a lecturer and Programme Coordinator for the Medical Doctor’s training (MBChB) programme at the School of Medicine, Eden University. Dr. Francis holds a Master’s degree in Public Health, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology.
